ITZY's Yuna gears up for solo debut

ITZY’s Yuna is set to be the next member of the group to make her solo debut. 

On Jan. 6, ITZY’s agency, JYP Entertainment, confirmed the launch in an interview with Newsen.  

“Yuna is preparing her solo debut album. The exact release date has not yet been determined,” the agency said. 

Yuna is the maknae, lead rapper, and one of the lead dancers and visuals of ITZY. She debuted in 2019 alongside Yeji, Ryujin, Lia, and Chaeryeong. She will be the second member of the group to release a solo project, following Yeji, who dropped her solo album Air in March 2025. 

Aside from singing, Yuna is also expanding her career into acting. She is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming tvN drama Undercover Miss Hong, which will premiere on Jan. 17. 

ITZY last released their 11th mini album, Tunnel Vision, in November 2025. The album features six tracks and topped multiple music charts and music shows, including a win for its title track on KBS’ Music Bank. 

The group is currently preparing for their third concert tour, "Tunnel Vision," which includes a Philippine stop on July 11 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
