Adele slams audience member who shouted 'pride sucks': 'If you have nothing nice to say, shut up'
Adele is not tolerating hate remarks this pride month.
In her Las Vegas residency show on June 1, the Hello singer struck back at a heckler who shouted “Pride sucks” during her show in Las Vegas.
In a video circulating on X and TikTok, Adele was taking a break from the performance and was talking with the audience, greeting them, “Happy Pride.”
In the middle of her talk, someone shouted, “Pride sucks.”
In her response, she said, “What was that? Pride sucks? Did you come to my f*cking show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f*cking stupid?” she said, with the crowd erupting into cheers.
“Don’t be so f*cking ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, alright?” she added.

In the other part of the show, she said, “And happy pride, okay? Not you though,” while pointing to the area where the heckler is.
Adele has been known to be vocal about her opinions during her concerts. In her show in July 2023, she opened up about how concertgoers "forget" how to behave after Bebe Rexha, Ava Max, and Kelsea Ballerini were hit in the face on stage.
"Have you noticed how people are forgetting f*cking show etiquette at the moment? People are throwing sh*t on stage. Have you seen that?" She said, before joking: "I f*cking dare you—I dare you [to] throw something at me. I'll f*cking kill you."
Adele is a 16-time Grammy winner known for her hits Rolling in the Deep, Hello, Easy on Me, Someone Like You, and more. Her Las Vegas residency dubbed Weekends with Adele began in November 2022 and is slated to conclude this year.
