Unique details: Aika Robredo's wedding featured a souvenir bar with OTC meds for guests
Aika Robredo's wedding is as creative as it can be!
After sporting a wedding gown featuring parts of her late father Jesse's barong, Aika and her husband Jim Guzman had another surprise for wedding guests.
The couple's souvenir bar didn't feature typical send-off gifts—instead, they gave away over-the-counter drugs with witty captioned signs.
"Well, huwag mo nang tiisin para hindi ka magkalat," the sign for a brand of anti-diarrheal medication stated, as seen on photos shared by Nice Print.
"Drink before getting wasted para hangover free," read a sign for a multivitamin supplement. "Para kaya mong sabayan ang energy ng kabataan," another said.
And to top it off, there were white purses to keep the medication in with the text, "We don't want you to regret anything."
Social media users were quick to point out that the reason for this kind of creativity is that Jim is a digital content executive for the pharmaceutical company Unilab.
"We wanted our giveaways to be relatable and fun," Jim told PhilSTAR L!fe. "Since I work at Unilab, we thought medicine packs would add a personal touch. Plus, the products we chose are useful—if our guests would feel tired, achy, or acidic after a long night of celebrating."
Other unique details from the wedding that Nice Print mentioned include the couple using a Handycam to film each other and their colorful menu curated by the late Margarita Forés.
Aika is the eldest of the three daughters of Naga City mayor Leni Robredo and the late former Department of Interior and Local Government secretary Jesse Robredo. She and Jim tied the knot in a Filipiniana-themed wedding on Dec. 29, 2025.
Her sister Tricia recently revealed that she has been engaged since last year. She shared the news on Instagram with a carousel of photos from the proposal, which took place in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
