LOOK: SB19, BINI now have their own travel microsites
Need ideas for your next getaway? Your P-pop faves might just have the travel inspo you’re looking for as the the Department of Tourism has launched dedicated microsites for BINI and SB19.
In an announcement, the tourism agency detailed that the microsites feature the "dream destinations" of each member, coupled with special discounted travel packages for these locations that can be availed through DOT-accredited partners via their website.
Fans can also engage directly with their idols using interactive features. For BLOOMS, they can share their own photos and captions of their favorite destinations while A'TINs can write short dedication messages paired with their favorite song from the group.
Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay highlighted that the microsites can help with boosting tourism in the country as "Pinoy talents like BINI and SB19 are very much able to influence audiences, drive travel, and generate real economic activity wherever they go."
"This kind of influence is particularly valuable for us in tourism, where a person's interest contributes to the local economy," she said.
"A fan who travels to see an artist may also stay in a hotel, eat at local restaurants, explore nearby attractions, or discover a destination for the first time. Each trip creates an opportunity for tourism spending to reach the businesses and communities that make those experiences possible," she added.
As seen in SB19's microsite, leader Pablo recommends Batanes and Boracay as his top destinations, while Stell listed Siquijor as his favorite place to be in. Zamboanga is Ken's pick, while Josh and Justin both recommended Batanes.

Josh also gave a nod to Bohol, while Justin put the spotlight on Surigao.
Clicking on one of the members will lead you to quick facts about the places they recommended, as well as information on how to get there and must-see tourist attractions.

For BINI's microsite, it included short statements from the girls on what they enjoyed about their recommended destinations.
Leader Jhoanna said that Siargao is her favorite as it has a "unique rhythm" to it, and "once you feel it, you'll never want to leave." Colet, Maloi, and Aiah have all highlighted Batanes as it is one of those places that will put a smile on your face once your arrive.

Sheena, on the other hand, listed Palawan while Stacey pointed to Boracay as it has "that glow you can't miss." Bukidnon is Gwen's pick because of how it "feels like a deep breath." Lastly, Mikha spotlighted Romblon as it is on her radar for a while now.

Clicking on the members' picks will lead you to special promos that you can avail in the destination.
The microsites come after SB19 and BINI were appointed by DOT as their newest tourism ambassadors earlier this year. Since then, the two groups have closely partnered with the agency in promoting Philippine destinations across their engagements locally and abroad.
