Get to know Rambo Nuñez: Businessman, sports buff, and now-husband of Maja Salvador
Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez’s finally exchanged “I dos” in an idyllic and dreamy Bali wedding on Monday, July 31.
Maja and Rambo’s love story is like a teleserye that happened in real life. From exes to lifetime partners, the couple is finally on their road to happy ever after, following their lavish wedding in Apurva Kempinski Bali, Indonesia.
Their pairing is quite like the movies too, with Maja being one of the most sought-after actresses in showbiz while Rambo is a well-known businessman.
He may not be highly visible to the public eye, but Rambo Nuñez Ortega is the brainchild of many brand campaigns, such as Jollibee, Air Asia, Converse, and the luxury watch Omega, among others.
Prior to his professional experience, Rambo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs from the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde in 2008. He has been thriving in the marketing and public relations industry ever since.
He also earned a certification in two of New York University's Career Advancement Courses—"Analyzing the Digital Consumer" and "Content Development Strategies for Digital Marketing"—both at the Gold Standard level back in 2016.

In his Linkedin profile, Rambo is described as the president of marketing and public relations companies PopUp Digital PH and Forthinker Inc. where he is responsible for the overall marketing operations, brainstorming event concepts, working with the suppliers and third-party partners, and troubleshooting problems pre-event and during the event, among others.
The 37-year-old businessman is also among the team behind one of the largest hot air balloon festivals in Southeast Asia, Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival, held from 2015 to 2018,
Currently, he also serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Crown Artist Management—a talent agency established by Maja Salvador that manages artists like John Lloyd Cruz, Miles Ocampo, Meryll Soriano, and Marvin Agustin, among others.
A sports enthusiast and travel junkie
Aside from business ventures, he also makes time to do his hobbies, mostly in sports. Since joining the basketball program in his student days, Rambo is still fond of the sport, as seen in his Instagram posts. Aside from this, he also does padel tennis, golf, and freediving.
With just a quick glance at his Instagram feed, you will know for sure that Rambo is a travel junkie. In fact, since “hard launching” his romance with Maja, the two often shared their travels, may it be in the Philippines or abroad.
Quality time is one of his love languages
Other than Maja, Rambo is sure to spend bonding time with his family, most especially with his mom Marilen who has also been involved in some of his projects. He is also a brother to blogger mom Yanee Alvarez.
He also enjoys hanging out with his friends in and outside the showbiz industry, such as Jake Cuenca, Adrian Alandy, and Marco Alcaraz, among others.
Rambo proposed to Maja in April 2022, just a month after they marked their third anniversary.
