AJ Raval hopes to have 12 children in the future: 'Kung marami lang talaga akong pera'
When it comes to future family plans, AJ Raval is hoping to have as many as 12 children.
In her guest appearance at the Your Honor podcast hosted by Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar, Raval had the chance to speak candidly about her hopes for motherhood and how having large family is something she has always wanted.
"Dati, kung marami lang talaga akong pera, 'yung pinakamarami na kaya ko, mga 12 na baby. Ang saya nun, 'di ba? Ano bang gagawin ko sa buhay ko kung marami naman akong pera?" she said.
"Actually nung nagsa-start akong mag-artista, 'di ba may workshop? Tapos 'yung workshop itatanong sa'yo, 'Five years from now, anong nakikita mo sa sarili mo?' Nahiya pa nga 'ko eh. Sagot ko nun, 'Farm, tahimik, maraming anak, malaking family,'" she continued.
Raval herself comes from a big family, having a total of 17 siblings from her father Jeric Raval's relationships with several women.
The actress recently shared that she is the mother of five children, three of whom she shares with actor Aljur Abrenica. Her eldest is her eight-year-old daughter Ariana, followed by her second child, Aaron, who is now an "angel." Her kids with Abrenica are Alkina, Aljur Jr., and Abraham.
Raval said that she felt it was time to reveal her children to the public.
“Gusto ko na pong matapos and gusto ko nang magkaroon ng freedom yung mga kids,” the actress said.
She also revealed that Abrenica's children with actress Kylie Padilla have a good relationship with her kids, noting that the eldest, Alas, is a responsible kuya.
“Naglalaro po sila lagi and yung panganay ni Aljur si Alas very responsible sa mga bunso,” she shared.
While she found motherhood challenging in the beginning, she prevailed with the help of her support system.
“At first, mahirap po pero siyempre nandiyan yung pamilya ko, nakasuporta po sila. Kinaya naman po,” Raval said.
Raval was first romantically linked to Abrenica after the latter’s ex-wife, Padilla, confirmed their breakup in July 2021. Raval later revealed that she’s been going out with Abrenica, but denied that she was the reason for their split.
