LOOK: Winwyn Marquez, non-showbiz fiancé's baby girl baptized
It was a special moment for Winwyn Marquez and her non-showbiz fiancé as they had their bundle of joy baptized at a local church.
In her Instagram stories, the 2017 Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder reposted a series of photos where she can be seen smiling ear to ear with her loved ones, including the love of her life during the baptism of their five-month-old baby held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church in Muntinlupa on Friday, Oct. 7.
Among the prominent personalities who got invited to the special occasion are actor Rodjun Cruz and Chinese-Filipino businessman Ben Chan, as well as her fellow beauty queens Laura Lehmann, Sophia Senoron, and Thia Thomalla.
Rodjun and his son Joaquin posed for a picture with Winwyn and the latter's daughter Luna at the event.
In another photo shared by one of Luna's godparents, Winwyn and her partner can be seen giving their adorable daughter a loving embrace.
"We all prayed for you Luna! You are so loved by many. As your godparent, I am honored and blessed to be part of your future," the guest wrote in the caption.
Former GMA executive Redgie Magno is also one of Luna's godparents. Sending her congratulations to the couple, she wrote on IG: "Welcome to the Christian world my godchild Baby Luna. You are so adorable, such a blessing to your parents."
In December 2021, Winwyn announced in a YouTube video that she was expecting her first child. "I am so happy. Me and my partner, we’re both so happy, my family, everyone, super saya namin," she said as she shared the news on social media.
The beauty queen's engagement to her partner was then disclosed by her father and veteran actor Joey Marquez back in May—the same month Winwyn announced the birth of her child. Joey noted that her partner is her daughter's "childhood sweetheart."
