Now that Holy Week is here, some of our favorite local celebrities are taking advantage of the rare pause to step away from the spotlight and focus on the things that matter most.
With their usual packed schedules and hectic lifestyles temporarily put on hold, these stars are leaning into the quiet rhythms of the season. And what better way to do that than to go to serene local or international destinations?
Here’s a look at how some of these familiar faces are spending Holy Week 2025.
KC Concepcion
KC Concepcion looked renewed and refreshed during her stay in Amanpulo, Palawan for her birthday.
On her Instagram account, the 40-year-old actress gave a glimpse of how she's spending Holy Week by sharing some pictures of herself enjoying the white sand beaches and turquoise waters the province is known for.
"Took a birthday boat adventure out of Amanpulo to nearby Manamoc Island, where the locals live. Bought fresh, wild-caught, giant maya-maya (red snapper) straight from the ‘barangay’ captain, aka fisherman, to cook for my birthday dinner, and even bought some cute woven basket bags from a sweet ‘nanay’ artisan," she said.
"So much beauty in the simple, the soulful, and the proudly Filipino!" she added.
Xian Lim
Xian Lim took his Holy Week vacation all the way to Egypt together with the love of his life, Iris Lee.
On Instagram, the pair could be seen posing for a picture with the magnificent view of a pyramid behind them. The actor also had a chance to marvel at the Great Sphinx of Giza.
Edgar Allan Guzman and Shaira Diaz
Edgar Allan Guzman and Shaira Diaz are enjoying Korea as they explored spots where their favorite K-shows were filmed.
On Instagram, the husband and wife tandem posed for a cute picture in front of Ryu Sun Jae's house in Lovely Runner, where Shaira held a yellow umbrella for EA in reference to the show's poster.
They also captured some memories at a bridge that was seen in Twenty-Five Twenty-One.
"Standing where Hee-do and Yi-jin broke all our hearts… hits different in real life.. still not over it!" Shaira captioned the post.
Sofia Andres
Sofia Andres chose to spend this sacred week by soaking up some sun in Cebu.
The actress has been filling her Instagram account with breathtaking photos of the setting sun as well as scenic photos of herself relaxing at the beach.
She's not by her lonesome, however, as she is spending this treasured moment with her daughter Zoe, who she shares with her partner Daniel Miranda.
"A day of silence, sacrifice, and remembrance. Thank You, Lord, for the cross," Sofia wrote in one of her posts.
Vice Ganda and Chad Kinis
Together with their Beki Squad, Vice Ganda and Chad Kinis headed off to Coron, Palawan for the weekend.
In a Facebook post, Kinis delighted fans with a groufie of him and Vice together with some of their non-showbiz friends as they fly off to Coron in a small plane.
Also in the mix is Vice's sister, Cristina "Tina" Viceral.
