Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia got candid and gave fans an exclusive glimpse into what went on behind the curtain of the Miss Universe Philippines 2025.

On Instagram, the 26-year-old Encantadia star described the intense and chaotic energy backstage. She recalled how there was constant movement, excitement, and high stress.

"Real happenings backstage!! A [lot] of running, screaming, pressure, and more running in 6-inch heels!!" she wrote.

Gabbi then narrated how she had to go through fast outfit changes throughout the night.

"We had [five] looks, with a total of [four] quick changes! We barely had [five to] 10 [minutes] per change (gown AND HAIR—yes, nakuha pa namin mag bun to straight to sleek side part and back to bun!)."

She added, "It felt like a backstage marathon! And ayun, timed lahat so 'di ako ang dahilan ng commercial breaks ha! Naka-stand by ako palagi sa side stage."

Despite the difficulty, she found the experience rewarding.

"It was hard, but seeing everyone in their element was amazing. I truly have the best team! [I] couldn’t have done it without you!" she said.

The 2025 edition of the local pageant marks the second time that Garcia hosted MUPH. She hosted the 2024 edition alongside Alden Richards, Tim Yap, Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel, and Jeannie Mai.

This year, she shared the stage with Xian Lim, Tim Yap, and Erika Kristensen-Lee.

Quezon Province's Ahtisa Manalo was named new Miss Universe Philippines at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. She is set to represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant that will be held on Nov. 21 in Thailand.

She was followed by Winwyn Marquez of Muntinlupa (1st runner-up) and Yllana Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna (2nd runner-up).

Sultan Kudarat's Chelsea Fernandez was announced as Miss Philippines Cosmo 2025, while Taguig’s Katrina Llegado was crowned Miss Philippines Supranational 2025. Gabriella Carballo of Cebu was named Miss Philippines Eco International 2025.
