Korean rapper Simon Dominic says he doesn't 'film at home anymore' after burglary
South Korean rapper Simon Dominic revealed a burglar broke into his home and took his diamond-covered luxury watch, adding he never films at home anymore.
During a guesting on Kian84’s YouTube channel, Life 84, Simon Dominic—an avid collector of sneakers, perfumes, and high-end watches—said he never shares where he keeps his valuables anymore.
“I’m not saying where my expensive watches are anymore. They’re all in a safe. I was robbed,” he said.
The musician shared that his diamond-covered luxury watch worth hundreds of millions of won was stolen during a home burglary. He added that he found out after a friend found it at a watch shop.
“The thief consigned it to a watch shop I often go to,” he said. “A friend of mine who owns the same watch happened to go there and saw it. He told me, and when I went there to try it on, it fit my wrist perfectly.”
The suspect was arrested after Simon Dominic and the police checked the CCTV footage of the shop on Christmas Eve.
Following the incident, he revealed that he has stopped filming content inside his own home for privacy reasons.
Simon Dominic is a former member of the hip-hop duo Supreme Team. Since the group's disbandment, he has released solo music and co-founded the hip-hop record label AOMG, eventually ending his exclusive contract with the company in 2024.
