HR exec on viral Coldplay kiss cam says she almost ran into her estranged husband at the concert

The woman in the viral Coldplay kiss cam scandal said she almost ran into her husband at the concert.

Human Relations executive Kristin Cabot confirmed the details in an interview with The Oprah Podcast, saying her daughter alerted her of her husband being in the show.

“I was walking into the concert and my daughter messaged me and said, ‘Oh it’s so great that you and Andrew are both at Coldplay,” Cabot told Oprah Winfrey.

“So she let me know that my estranged husband was also at the concert,” she added.

She also said that she is doubtful about seeing her husband in the venue, given the huge crowd present there.

“And in my mind I thought, well that’s—is this going to be weird if he sees me with Andy [Byron]? Like … if I run into him,” she continues. “But then I was like, I’m in Gillette Stadium, there’s 55,000 people here, I’m probably not going to run into him.”

She added that her estranged husband would not be surprised if she were seen at the concert with her former boss, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron.

“He [my ex] knows how closely Andy and I worked together, he knows we socialized—like got lunches and got drinks. It was fine," she said.

Recalling the incident, Cabot said with a laugh, “That would have been better at the end of the day if I’d just run into him.”

On July 16, 2025, the internet exploded after Coldplay’s jumbotron caught Byron and Cabot in an intimate embrace. The viral clip instantly ignited affair rumors. By July 20, Byron had resigned as CEO, with Cabot stepping down just days later.

In December 2025, Cabot broke her silence on the incident for the first time, calling it "a bad decision."
