Hailey Bieber thanked Selena Gomez for speaking out against their rumored feud, saying that she believes "love will always be bigger than hate and negativity."

In an Instagram Story on Saturday, March 25, Hailey gave a shoutout to Selena as she revealed that they have been discussing how they can "move past this ongoing narrative" between them.

“The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful,” the 26-year-old model wrote.

“While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together,” she added.

Hailey went on to remind everyone to be mindful of what they post on social media and choose kindness above all. “Things can always be taken out of context or construed differently than they were intended. We all need to be more thoughtful about what we post and what we say, including myself.”

“In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity, and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion,” she concluded.

This comes after Selena spoke against the death threats being sent to Hailey amid their rumored feud. “Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” she wrote in her IG stories on Friday, March 24.

“This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop."

Hailey is married to Selena's ex-boyfriend, singer Justin Bieber. They are being pitted against each other as fans speculated that there was an overlap between their relationships with the latter.

According to a report by Billboard, feud rumors resurfaced in February this year, when "Gomez confessed on TikTok that she’d over-laminated her eyebrows. Kylie Jenner then shared a photo with her friend Hailey holding the camera close up to their own professional-looking brows."

The two have been repeatedly stressing that all is well between them for years now. They even posed for a photo together at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles in October 2022.
