Documentaries about BTS stars J-hope and Suga to hit theaters this June

K-pop supergroup BTS is celebrating their 10th anniversary on June 13 and to mark this special occasion with their ARMYs, the group is releasing the solo documentary films of two of their members in theaters all over the globe.

On May 10, BTS announced on social media that the solo documentaries of their lead dancer j-hope and rapper-producer SUGA are hitting cinemas on June 17 for a limited time only.

"In celebration of BTS’ 10th anniversary, j-hope and SUGA’s solo documentaries will be available in cinemas around the world for a limited time," the group wrote in a statement. "Don’t miss the chance to gather with your friends and family to enjoy both movies on the big screen!"

Both documentaries were produced by South Korean entertainment company HYBE and are currently available for streaming on Disney+.

J-hope's documentary, titled j-hope IN THE BOX, was released for streaming on Feb. 17. The film chronicles j-hope's daily life for 200 days during the production of his solo album Jack In The Box and its listening party to his performance on the stage of Lollapalooza 2022.

On the other hand, SUGA's Road to D-Day documentary film made its online premiere on April 21 alongside his solo album D-DAY. the film follows the BTS star's tour across the world to find inspiration for his new album.

Tickets to their theatrical screening will begin on May 17 at 8 a.m. KST (7 a.m. in Philippine time) via btssolodoumentaries.com.
