Did you do your part for the Philippines in the national polls?

Various celebrities endured long queues to cast their votes on Monday, May 9. While most of them wore neutral-colored outfits with subtle hints of their chosen candidates, there were still some who went all-out and sported the colors of their presidential bets at their polling precincts.

Here’s a quick look at how local stars voted in style on Election Day.

Heart Evangelista cast her vote alongside her husband Chiz Escudero, who is seeking a senate seat in the elections. Consistent with her white aesthetic, the actress wore her long-sleeved white dress with a yellow belt for extra oomph. Of course, she matched it with designer shoes and a bucket bag.

Bea Binene kept it simple with a white polo, denim pants, and black cap. Adding color to her ensemble were her red and purple mask lanyard and her eye-catching rose gold watch.

Mariel Padilla—whose husband Robin Padilla is a guest candidate of UniTeam headed by presidential bet Bongbong Marcos and vice-presidential candidate Sara Duterte—wore a green shirt and white pants. For some girliness, she wore white sandals and a chain shoulder bag.

We’re definitely here for Janine Gutierrez’s bucket-hat outfit. She opted for a timeless OOTD—white shirt and denim shorts—and owned her look with a beige Prada nylon bucket hat and pops of vibrance courtesy of her pink mask as well as her rubber shoes in green and brown.

Speaking of bucket hats, we can’t get over how Catriona Gray looked in her Election Day outfit. She rewrote a fashion rule by pairing her printed bucket hat with a printed top, and look how she pulled it off. It’s a look we never thought we would copy for casual days.

Maris Racal went for a black tight-fit sleeveless top and denim jeans as she cast her vote in the polls. We love how she complemented her look with loose braids and a neutral bucket hat.

Yup, it looks like bucket hats were a thing among celebrity voters. Vice Ganda wore the much-loved head gear in black as she showcased her toned legs with an oversized shirt and short shorts. Rocking her signature style, she matched it with low-cut rubber shoes.

Kylie Verzosa made her neutral outfit look chic and sexy by showing a hint of skin. The beauty queen wore a long-sleeved crop top with a silver necklace, pink bracelet, and a designer crossbody bag.

Some members of the Gutierrez family showed off their inked fingers and their neutral voting outfits in an Instagram post. Richard Gutierrez wore a black polo shirt, while Sarah Lahbati simply rocked a white top and jeans. Ruffa Gutierrez, meanwhile, kept the colors neutral but went all out with florals and stripes.

How to sport a quick and easy outfit without looking too dull? Take notes from Janella Salvador, who added a holographic touch to her voting look that showcased the timeless blend of light colors and denim.
