Crochet apparel has become a favorite among beach lovers as it keeps you cool under the scorching heat. This in addition to providing effortless chicness to your outfit.

That’s why it comes as no wonder that Lovi Poe opted for one by local crochet garments store Cora and Cecilia in her recent Instagram post. The hat, which is affordably priced at P450, comes in bright purple and is real eye candy, especially when paired with a top that has a bright color.

Lovi proves to be a fan of knitted headgears, as seen in another Instagram post where she donned the Baby Blues bucket hat ($85 or P4,500) by LA-based knitwear maker Farradah Knits. What made it even chicer is that she copped it with a matching bikini top.

Heart Evangelista

You'd know that a '90s trend never really got out of style when you see it on Heart Evangelista. The fashionista rocked a '90s era bucket hat on her latest trip to Balesin.

This is one not to be overlooked, though. Heart's headpiece is a reversible Teddy-D small bucket hat by French luxury fashion house Dior. It is black on one side and features the Dior Oblique motif on the other.

According to the brand's website in the United Arab Emirates, the hat costs Dhs 2,900 or approximately P41,400. Heart used it to pull off a classy all-black look along with her Hermès halter bikini.

A classic straw hat can always add a soft touch to your 'fits. Take it from Elisse Joson, who used her straw bucket hat to complement her multi-colored high-waist bikini during her vacation in Bohol.

Elisse and Sofia Andres's matching bucket hats show that it's time to bid goodbye to friendship bracelets and hello to cool best buds birdles. The gal pals both copped Jacquemus Le Bob Gadjo bucket hats ($100 or P5,240 each) in vibrant orange and pink to add more color to their green summer outfits. Now you and your bestie know what to buy and wear on your next girls' day out.

From hanging out with friends to taking a stroll at the beach, Sofia Andres just can't keep her head off of bucket hats! The hot mama went for an all-beige outfit, with her skin tone bikini and a Prada nylon bucket hat in Desert Beige.

Apart from being trendy, this luxury headpiece promotes sustainability, as it is made out of "Re-Nylon" that, according to Prada, is produced from "purified plastic trash collected in the ocean, fishing nets and textile waste fibers." It comes with a $625 (P32,820) price tag.

Sofia knows how to give off fun summer vibes wherever she goes with her vibrant OOTDs that scream chic. This time, the ABS-CBN actress wore a pink patterned bucket hat to match her hot pink polo. To copy her look, all you need is an oversized polo, a monotone shirt-and-pants set underneath, and a printed bucket hat that has the same color as your layering top.

Julia Baretto

Julia Barretto is another actress that makes a strong case for eye-catching garb, as seen in her post featuring the lilac Brooklyn flower hat (P499) from her own accessory line, Juju. The actress-entrepreneur also shows how to mix prints like a pro by partnering her floral hat with a houndstooth spaghetti strap tank top of the same color.

Bucket hats are fashion pieces you can wear any time of the year and, yes, even beyond summer. Just ask Julia, who put a casual twist on her smart casual attire — comprising a long-sleeve shirt and trousers — with her Juju canvas bucket hat (P549).

Isabelle Daza

Who says bucket hats are only designed as accessories? It can be the highlight of your outfit, too, in the same way that Isabelle Daza wore her hat during a trip to Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California. Her plain white bodycon romper instantly turned into an adventure-ready outfit when she combined an Off Duty Nery bucket hat ($145 or P7,600) with it.

Kris Bernal

While wearing a hat the same color as your top is common among fashionistas, Kris Bernal shows that matching your bucket hat to your footwear equally makes for an Instagram-worthy OOTD. The actress wore her black Chanel CC bucket hat ($1,800 or approx. P94,300), which matches her chunky black Chanel sandals, during her vacation in Pico de Loro Cove, Batangas.
