Here's how much money Elon Musk reportedly offered Ashley St. Clair to keep their alleged child a secret

Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk has reportedly offered a substantial sum to influencer Ashley St. Clair in exchange for keeping their alleged child a secret.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Musk offered St. Clair a one-time payment of $15 million (P850 million) and $100,000 (P5.6 million) a month as support "to keep quiet about their infant son."

This was confirmed by an insider close to the 26-year-old influencer, who shared with People that Musk paid her to keep their child a secret.

Moreover, the report said that St. Clair's baby boy, who had been known only by the initials R.S.C., is named Romulus. It also noted that the results of a DNA test proved that the senior advisor to US President Donald Trump is almost certainly the father.

The test, done by Labcorp, said there was a 99.9999% chance that Musk is the baby’s father.

A representative for St. Clair told People that the test results confirmed Musk is the father and verified the baby’s name.

In February, St. Clair revealed on X that she and Musk shared a son.

"Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause," she wrote during that time.

St. Clair added, "I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child's privacy and refrain from invasive reporting."

However, a month later, St. Clair's legal team said that Musk had "financially retaliated" against her and their son after filing a petition for custody with the New York Supreme Court in February.

"Elon Musk has financially retaliated against his child and reduced his financial support substantially and unilaterally," St. Clair's legal team, Karen Rosenthal, Bikel Rosenthal & Schanfield LLP, told People.

They added, "He did this after Ashley was forced to bring this matter to court when he refused to respond to her many private attempts to resolve this matter without publicity."

St. Clair claims that Musk was not present at R.S.C.'s birth and "has met him only three (3) times and has had no involvement in his care and upbringing."

Musk clapped back in a tweet on March 31 as a response to an investigative journalist who was reacting to a video of St. Clair selling her Tesla to supplement money for child care.

"I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but I am not against finding out. No court order is needed," he wrote, emphasizing that whether or not he is the real father, he has given Ashley $2.5 million or more than P141 million and sending an amount of P28.3 million a year.

In that tweet, St. Clair replied, accusing Musk of refusing a paternity test before their child was born, only providing financial support to stay in control, and later cutting off that support to punish her.

"Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused," she said.

"And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary… until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for 'disobedience.' But you’re really only punishing your son."

She also criticizes him for trying to silence her through the courts while publicly shaming her and their child using his social media platform. She ends by calling him "petulant man-child."

"It’s ironic that your last effort in court was to try to gag me while you use a social media channel you literally own to distribute derogatory messages about me and our child to the entire world. It’s all about control with you, and everyone can see it."

She concluded, "America needs you to grow up, you petulant man-child."

Musk is reported to have 14 children in total, including one with St. Clair, and 13 with three other women.
