Shortly after teaming up with Justin Timberlake for the remix of 3D, BTS member Jungkook is back with another surprise collaboration with no other than R&B star Usher.

BTS' record label, BIGHIT MUSIC, on Nov. 29 announced that Jungkook is teaming up with the American singer-songwriter and dance for a remix of his track Standing Next to You.

According to the agency, the "Usher remix" of Standing Next to You adds "a velvety touch to the energetic vibe of the original version, showcasing the synergy between the two artists in full force.”

It will be released on Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. KST (1 p.m. PHT).

Standing Next to You, which was co-produced by Andrew Watt and Cirkut, was released on Nov. 3 as the main track of  Jungkook's debut solo album Golden.

Prior to Usher, the K-pop idol has teamed up with Timberlake and American record producer MK for the two remixes of 3D (featuring Jack Harlow), as well as David Guetta for the remix of Seven (featuring Latto).

His album's tracklist also features collaborations with international stars, including Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes.

Jungkook is the sixth member of BTS to debut solo after the K-pop supergroup went into a hiatus in June 2022 to pursue solo activities and complete South Korea's mandatory military service. The group's "golden maknae" is set to begin his military service this December.
