NCT Dream's Renjun to skip Manila concert in August due to health concerns
Renjun of NCT Dream will not be part of the group’s upcoming two-night show in Manila this August.
Local concert organizer Live Nation Philippines announced the sad news in a statement on Friday, July 12.
“We regret to inform you that Renjun will not be able to participate in the 2024 NCT Dream world tour, The Dream Show 3: DREAM( )SCAPE in Manila due to health conditions,” the statement read.
They added that all remaining six members, Mark, Haechan, Jisung, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jeno, will push through with the show as scheduled.
“We ask for your kind understanding. Thank you,” they concluded.
The upcoming two-night show will be held at the SM Mall of Asia from Aug. 10 to 11.
The group last visited the Philippines in April 2023 for their The Dream Show 2: In a Dream tour.
NCT Dream is the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. They are known for their hit tracks Hello Future, Life Is Still Going On, and Candy.
In July 2023, they made a comeback with the album, ISTJ. They recently released a Japanese single dubbed Moonlight.
