Red Velvet is returning to Manila in September

Here’s a surprise for you, Filo ReVeluvs! Red Velvet is heading back to Manila in September. 

The K-pop girl group announced on Wednesday, June 19 that they will be bringing the Happiness: My Dear, ReVe1uv fan con to the Philippines on Sept. 14 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. 

The Asia tour will kick off in Seoul from August 3 to 4 before heading to their two-night show in Bangkok. They will also have stops in Jakarta and Macau in September. 

More details including the ticket prices, seat plan, and selling dates have yet to be announced. 

Before the fan con, the group is preparing for the seventh mini album dubbed Cosmic set to be released on June 24. This comes seven months after the release of their full album Chill Kill in November last year.  

First debuted in the K-pop scene in August 2014, Red Velvet consists of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri—who officially joined in March 2015. They’re known for their hit songs Psycho, Red Flavor, Peek-A-Boo, Bad Boy, and Russian Roulette, among others. 

The girl group last performed in the Philippines in May 2023. They also visited the country in April 2015, June 2019, and July 2022 for an advocacy concert festival dubbed Be You: The World Will Adjust.
