Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios set to visit the Philippines
Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios will be in the Philippines from May 1 to 6!
This visit to the country is part of her Asia tour, as announced by the Miss Universe Organization on its social media pages.
"I'm so excited to share that I will be visiting Manila, Philippines very very soon. Looking forward to experiencing their rich culture and exploring all that this amazing city has to offer," she said in the video.
The pageant organization has yet to announce the activities of Sheynnis in the country.
The beauty queen's Asia Tour has taken her to China, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand.
In November 2023, Nicaragua's Sheynnis won the Miss Universe title after she bested over 80 other candidates from countries all over the world, including Michelle Dee who represented the Philippines. She is the first Nicaraguan to win the Miss Universe crown in its seven-decade-long history.
Sheynnis’ predecessor, Filipino-American R’Bonney Gabriel is currently in the country and is set to host this year’s Miss Universe Philippines to be held at the Mall of Asia arena in Pasay City on May 22.
The local pageant recently had its National Costume contest, where Iloilo City's Alexie Brooks, Tacloban's Tamara Ocier, and Southern California's Janet Hammond emerged as the Top 3.
