Son Ye-jin to hold charity bazaar with her personal belongings
Son Ye-jin shared that she's looking to hold a charity bazaar and sell her personal belongings, including those that she used in her roles in films and TV series.
The K-drama star announced the news on her Instagram account on Tuesday, Dec. 12, saying that she wants to end 2023 by doing something meaningful.
“An idea came up for a charity bazaar. That good idea was my idea!” she quipped, referencing one of her lines in hit TV series Crash Landing on You.
“I plan to sell my personal belongings and donate the money to a good cause. There are many items from clothes to accessories so close to my heart. (Even my character’s outfits!),” the Korean star added.
“I have many, many things to consider as a host of the bazaar! Because it’s my first, I keep getting ahead of myself,” she said. “Why am I already tired?”
More details about the charity event are yet to be announced.
Son Ye-jin got married to her Crash Landing On You co-star Hyun Bin in March 2022, over a year after announcing their relationship on New Year’s Day in 2021. They welcomed their first son together, nicknamed Alkong, in November 2022.
Her first major appearance after her wedding and pregnancy was in Paris Fashion Week for the Valentino Haute Couture Show in July.
She has been actively sharing glimpses of her life after getting married and giving birth on her Instagram account, including her golf sessions and photos of her son.
