LIST: Pinoy celebrities, personalities volunteer to help Typhoon Kristine victims
Severe tropical storm Kristine wreaked havoc across the Philippines, causing widespread flooding and damage.
As residents were forced to evacuate their homes, the storm claimed the lives of 29 people, injured 9, and left 4 missing, according to the Philippine National Police.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development also reported that over 3.3 million Filipinos were impacted by the typhoon.
In response to the crisis, several celebrities and personalities used their platforms to mobilize relief efforts. Many volunteered their time to assist those affected, while others donated to reputable organizations providing aid to the typhoon victims.
Boss Toyo
In a Facebook post, content creator Boss Toyo shared his efforts in helping the victims of the typhoon by going directly to Bicol to give out relief goods that he collected among his fellow vloggers and some politicians. He shared a detailed list of the contributions of those involved in the donation of items that he would give out in the Bicol Region.
Donny Pangilinan
Angat Buhay shared on social media that Donny Pangilinan generously donated relief goods and personally delivered them to their office. The organization is actively involved in rescue efforts and distributing relief packages to those affected by Typhoon Kristine.
Sparkle GMA Artists
Several GMA Sparkle artists stepped up to support typhoon victims by volunteering to repack relief goods and participating in a telethon. During the telethon, they answered calls from those affected by the storm, offering assistance and encouragement.
Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Michelle Dee, Alberto ‘Betong” S. Sumaya Jr., Michael Sager, Lauren King, Kyline Alcantara, Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, and Mikee Quintos, and Josh Ford were some of the artists who volunteered for the telethon.
Meanwhile, Herlene Budol, John Vic De Guzman, Charlie Fleming, Javi Valdes, Maika Kemmochi, and Kim Perez helped the Kapuso Foundation repack relief goods.
BINI, ABS-CBN artists
During "Tulong-tulong Hanggang Dulo," ABS-CBN's online donation drive for super typhoon Kristine victims, BINI’s leader Jhoanna Robles announced that their girl group will be donating P1 million to the victims.
“Ang halagang ito ay maging panimula po sana ng mga donasyon sa ABS-CBN Foundation. Magtulungan po tayo para makatulong sa mga kababayan,” Robles said during the fundraiser event.
Also present at the event were Vina Morales, Jed Madela, Jona, Drei Sugay, AC Bonifacio, Nyoy Volante, Khimo, Jeremy G, Fana, Jamie Rivera, Kice, KD Estrada, and Rob Blackburn.
Other celebrities Anne Curtis, Donny Pangilinan, BGYO, Amy Perez, Kaila Estrada, Anji Salvacion, Gela Atayde, Alyanna Angeles, and Pinoy Big Brother season 11 housemates donated cash and in-kind donations to ABS-CBN Foundation.
SB19
On a social media post under 1Z Entertainment, the company that represents P-pop boy group SB19 announced it is accepting in-kind donations for those affected by the typhoon.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the typhoon and flooding,” it said.
1Z Entertainment will be at the Yellow Gate, Araneta Coliseum on Oct. 26-27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accept in-kind donations for Kristine victims.
Sarah Geronimo
Sarah Geronimo—through G Studios PH and in collaboration with South Trading Post, and Angat Buhay—launched a donation drive to aid typhoon victims.
The drive accepts in-kind donations, which can be dropped off at the G Studios PH office in Alabang (beside Landers Alabang) from Oct. 25-30 and Nov. 4-17 or the Museo ng Pag-asa at 84 Cordillera St., Sta Mesa Heights, Quezon City.

Amidst public backlash for her "insensitive" comments regarding her privileged post during Typhoon Kristine, Rosmar Tan, who is running for office in the 2025 elections, sought to make amends by donating relief goods to the affected communities
“Mas importante yung tumulong tayo sa kapwa. Yung ipapangbili ko ng Labubu para makisabayan sa trending ngayon, ipangbibili ko nalang ng ayuda pangtulong sa tao,” she responded to a comment who was expecting a blind box unboxing video from her.
In another TikTok video, she said that they would personally deliver the relief packages once the roads are passable.
