Cristine Reyes reveals marriage with Ali Khatibi annulled, discussing 'future together' with Marco Gumabao

Cristine Reyes said her marriage with her ex-husband, mixed martial artist Ali Khatibi, has been annulled for over a year now.

Reyes made the revelation when she and her current boyfriend Marco Gumabao appeared in an episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

Abunda clarified if Reyes’ marriage with Khatibi was already annulled as he asked whether Reyes and Gumabao have already been discussing marriage. To which, she replied, "Matagal na, Tito Boy. More than a year na."

Reyes noted she didn’t really announce the news. “It’s not something I should celebrate,” she said.

Gumabao, meanwhile, responded to Abunda positively.

"Of course,” he said of he and Reyes' talks about settling down. “Basta ang usapan namin is 'yung future together.”

He, however, noted that they’ve yet to iron out details and are doing things bit by bit.

“’Yung longer (term), 'yun 'yung pinag-uusapan namin,” he added.

Gumabao and Reyes fueled dating rumors in March 2023 when they were spotted together in locations like Siargao and Makati.

They became Instagram official in April, when Marco shared a carousel of their sweet moments, including him kissing Cristine on the cheek while hugging her from behind and holding hands while walking.

Reyes and Gumabao first worked together in the 2016 teleserye Tubig at Langis.

Reyes and Khatibi, meanwhile, got married in 2016 and separated in 2019. They share a daughter and are in a co-parenting setup.
