BLACKPINK's Lisa confirmed to collaborate with BigBang's Taeyang on new song for his album

It's confirmed: BLACKPINK's Lisa is collaborating with BigBang member Taeyang on a song for his comeback album, Down to Earth.

Taeyang broke the newss with the release of the song's cover on social media today, April 19. Titled "Shoong!" the collaboration between the two K-pop superstars is said to be a a catchy R&B track with hip-hop beat. 

The poster, meanwhile, exudes spunk and power as Taeyang looks straight at the camera while Lisa stares at him like a tough opponent. 

Shoong! is due out on April 27, two days after the release of Taeyang's upcoming solo album and title track, Seed, on April 25. 

Lisa and Taeyang's collaboration first made rounds online when Korean entertainment outlet OSEN reported that the BLACKPINK rapper is one of the featured artists in Taeyang's new album. It was also said that Lisa will appear in one of Taeyang's music videos.

The rumors were confirmed by Taeyang's agency, BLACK LABEL. to The Korean Herald on April 12.

BLACK LABEL is a subsidiary of YG Entertainment where both Taeyang and Lisa debuted as part of their respective groups.

Taeyang, for his part, moved to Black Label in December of last year, a month before he released his single Vibe in collaboration with BTS member Jimin.
