Will volleyball player Fifi Sharma become a pageant queen?

The 23-year-old's possible run in the competition was discussed as she served as a judge at the recently concluded 60th Binibining Pilipinas.

Fifi sat the all-women panel alongside Miss Universe winners Margie Moran, Gloria Diaz, and Pia Wurtzbach, Miss International titleholders Andrea Rubio and Bea Santiago, beauty and wellness entrepreneur Rhea Tan, and Binibining Pilipinas executive committee member and chairman of the board of judges Conchitina Sevilla-Bernardo.

"Everybody has been talking me into it (pageantry) since I got here. I guess I kinda changed my perspective on it. Maybe there's a little chance I might go," the athlete told ABS-CBN News.

"Wow! Okay!" Pia, who sat next to Fifi said.

"Malakas mambudol eh," the volleyball player said to the Miss Universe 2015 titleholder.

"Actually, after I watched all of [the Binibining Pilipinas delegates], I kinda [got] inspired," Fifi added.

Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz chimed in, saying she thought the volleyball player was also a beauty queen.

The actress also told Fifi to "Go for it!"

Fifi is a volleyball player for the Akari Chargers in the Premier Volleyball League. She also played for the De La Salle University Lady Spikers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), with her run ending in 2023.

In May 2024, the 23-year-old joined Alas Pilipinas Women, debuting in the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup.

Held last July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the 60th Binibining Pilipinas crowned Abra's Myrna Esguerra as Bb. Pilipinas International and Pampanga's Jasmin Bungay as Bb. Pilipinas Globe.
