Gary Valenciano is feeling better after a health issue prompted him to end his concert earlier than expected on Dec. 20.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Dec. 21, his wife Angeli said his vitals are all normal and he's now getting some rest.

"Sugar ok. BP ok. Creatinine ok. He is ok. Just weak from all the throwing up—from the stage to the stretcher is what happened but he is ok now. Just weak," she wrote.

"All will be well," she added.

The singer kicked off his two-night show on Friday, Dec. 20 at the Araneta Coliseum. He showed up onstage after some delays and shared that he was feeling under the weather in his opening speech. After singing a few of his hits, Gary said he wasn’t sure if he can push through with the show.

Angeli, in a Facebook post later that night, explained that Gary “ingested something and vomited so many times in the last two hours.” Despite how he was feeling, Gary insisted to push through with the concert while doctors were on standby backstage.

In another video shared by Angeli, Gary can be seen getting treatment and assuring fans he’s feeling better. “Hey guys, I’m getting better. I’ll be okay, don’t worry,” he said.

According to Angeli, they encountered some challenges before and after the show. "After his concert, a drunken driver bumped his van. Such is life," she shared. "Three hours before the concert, his tech director broke his arm. Our accountant too. His driver got into an accident too which rendered him on leave for 4 weeks and Gary drove and parked his car everywhere! So many more attempts to crush our spirit but we will not be broken. If He is for us who can be against us."

Pure Energy: One More Time is a follow-up concert to Gary’s Pure: Energy: One Last Time show in April. Its second night is scheduled for Dec. 22 at the Araneta Coliseum, though Angeli said they "need to pray for wisdom" about it.

Over the years, Gary has had several health scares. He previously suffered and survived tuberculosis and hepatitis. He also underwent open heart surgery in 2018 and battled kidney cancer.
