Kim Kardashian shares update after revealing brain aneurysm diagnosis
Kim Kardashian gave a health update after opening up about her brain aneurysm scare.
The reality TV star told Good Morning America that she went through extensive testing to further assess her brain aneurysm.
"I did go and get a Prenuvo scan, and I had to end up going and getting tons of other brain scans," she said on the morning show. (A Prenuvo scan, according to its website, "is a whole body, radiation-free MRI scan for patients to identify early detection of hundreds of cancers and conditions.")
Kardashian asked viewers to catch next week's episode of her family series The Kardashians, where she's set to disclose more details about her health.
"Tune in next week, but everything works out," she said.
Kardashian revealed "a little aneurysm" was found in her brain in a clip aired during the show's Season 7 premiere last week.
A brain aneurysm is "a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain," per health information website Mayo Clinic.
"If an aneurysm ruptures, it can quickly become life-threatening and requires emergency treatment," it added.
