Leren Bautista to Ricci Rivero: 'You came at the right time in my life'

For Leren Bautista, Ricci Rivero had the right timing when he came into her life.

The beauty queen-turned-politician posted about the basketball player as they watched Gary Valenciano's concert on Friday, Nov. 3.

While Mr. Pure Energy was singing How Did You Know, Leren shared a glimpse of Ricci enjoying the show in her now-expired Instagram stories. "You came at the right time in my life," she wrote in the caption.

"God knows the truth. We don't have to defend ourselves anymore, ang mahalaga alam natin ang totoo," she added.

Ricci confirmed his relationship with Leren in an Instagram post on Oct. 21 with a heartfelt letter about finding "the right one."

"Hindi tayo magtatago dahil walang dapat ikahiya. Walang nang-agaw at walang inagaw," he said. "Walang bibitaw dahil masaya tayong magkahawak kamay."

Ricci was previously with actress Andrea Brillantes. Their relationship started in April 2022. They confirmed their breakup in June this year.

A month before that, Ricci spent his birthday with Leren in Los Baños in Laguna, where she’s a councilor, and distributed food packs to constituents.

This sparked dating rumors between them, but Leren denied this and said it was an outreach activity that’s “not an indication of a romantic relationship between them.”

In the coming weeks, Ricci and Leren would be spotted together in several locations, holding hands in public, jogging in the park, and watching a basketball game.
