“My House, My Child, My Rules!”

This was what Dianne Medina said after receiving various comments regarding setting up inflatable pools in her living room and how she shouldn’t spoil her son.

On April 6, the actress and host shared a video of her son on Instagram and TikTok playing and splashing water inside a small inflatable pool set up indoors.

Dianne shared that her son Joaquin wanted to swim outside but it was too hot, so she and her husband, actor Rodjun Cruz, set up a mini pool for him.

“At first I was a bit hesitant madudumihan and mababasa ang carpet and all pero naisip ko minsan lang bata si Joaquin gusto ko ma- enjoy niya and ang sala pwede naman patuyuin at linisin ang mga gamit hahha!” she continued.

In her caption, she recalled when her son drew on their sofa using a marker—something she didn't get mad over as they could replace the couch.

Social media users react, Dianne answers

Dianne’s post received various comments from social media users reiterating that she shouldn’t spoil her three-year-old.

“Di 'yan pwede, malaki na siya he should know and understand where to mess up sa tamang lugar... 'Pag nasanay na jan siya, it’s a no no na. Pero I can’t talaga,” another one commented.

Dianne responded to the comment with “sa akin pwede.”

Other social media users expressed how they can relate to her as a parent.

Yung carpet if masira, napapalitan at 'yung ibang furniture na mababasa matutuyo pa. Pero yung happiness nung anak niya is really priceless,” another one added.

After her post went viral, Dianne posted another Instagram video of her husband and son playing in their pool.

She also shared another photo of her son playing in a giant inflatable playpen inside their home. "My house, my child, my rules! Kahit maglagay pa ako ng inflatable sa loob, okay lang!" the actress said.

“Saya! Enjoy life everyday!
