John Feir airs his side on wedding blunder: 'Ang tagal kong tumatawa'
Actor John Feir aired his side of the story on his recent wedding blunder.
The comedian went viral after his Pepito Manoloto co-star Mikoy Morales shared that Feir accidentally attended the wrong wedding on Jan. 3. Feir was supposed to go to Morales' nuptials scheduled for Mar. 3, but he misread the date on the invitation.
The actors talked about the moment in an interview on GMA's YoüLOL YouTube channel.
"['Yung] bungad ng invitation mo, may Jan. 3, kaya tumatak lang sa akin yung Jan. 3," he said.
He went on to attend the wedding near Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati last Saturday.
"Pag dating ko doon, sabi ko, uy dami ng kotse. Sabi ko, sige parada na ako. Doon ako sa likod dumaan. Naka-lock na yung mga pinto, sinarado na," the comedian shared.
When he went off to the side of the venue, an individual called him over for a picture and pointed him to the entrance.
"Pagpasok ko gano'n, hinahanap ko si Chariz [Solomon], tsaka si Juancho, nakalagay sa invitation mo. Wala. Ah, baka dulo sa harap yun. Tapos nakita ko agad yung kinakasal. Ay, nagpagupit si Mikoy, ah," he recalled, surprised at the groom's look.
"Tapos nakita ko lahat ng tao, naka-suit! Ako lang 'yung nakabarong. Sabi ko, okay. Teka, sandali lang ha," Feir added, almost coming to a realization, to Morales' chuckle.
Feir finally pieced everything together after speaking with a photographer in the venue.
He asked, "Si ano ba yan? Si Marco Morales? 'Sir, hindi po eh.' Hindi ako pwede magkamali. Ngayon 'yung kasal nu'n Jan. 3. 4pm. 'Sir, hindi po. Ito po yung ikakasal.'"
After checking a link Morales sent, Feir finally realized that he got the date wrong. He then called Solomon, who laughed at the incident.
It was after leaving that Feir called Morales about the blunder, leading to the latter posting about it on social media.
"Pag-akyat ko sa bahay, halakhak na ako. Ang tagal kong tumatawa," Feir shared, adding that he didn't expect the post to go viral.
"Ang dami nang kumukuhang ninong sakin dahil ang aga ko raw dumating."
Morales and Garcia announced their engagement in February 2025 with a creative movie theater proposal, and have since shared prenup photos as they prepare for their big day.
