'Pepito Manoloto' star John Feir attends wrong wedding after misreading co-star Mikoy Morales' invitation

Imagine dressing up for a wedding, showing up on time, and only realizing later that you've got the wrong date. That’s exactly what happened to comedian John Feir, who accidentally attended the wrong couple’s wedding after misreading an invitation from actor Mikoy Morales.

Morales shared the hilarious story in a Facebook post, where he detailed the circumstances that led Feir to show up to another couple's wedding on Jan. 3 by mistake.

The comedian was supposed to attend the actor's wedding with his non-showbiz girlfriend Isa Garcia, which is scheduled to take place sometime in March later this year.

"Nananawagan po kami: Kung sinuman ang kinasal kaninang 4:00 p.m. nang hapon sa Don Bosco, Makati—baka po pwedeng makahingi ng kopya ng SDE [same-day edit]. Andun po si John Feir, siya lang ang naka-barong," Morales began.

"Kwento: Sa March pa ang kasal at ang nakalagay sa invitation ay 'Please RSVP on or before Jan. 3.' Eh 'Jan. 3' lang 'yung nabasa. Ayun, dumating kanina," he continued.

Morales went on to say that Feir stood out among the other attendees due to his attire.

"'Pag dating niya lahat naka-suit, siya lang ang naka-barong. Pinagitna pa siya at ginandahan daw ng anggulo 'yung pagkuha sa kanya ng photo/video. Wala siyang nakilala at iba raw itsura ng groom," he wrote.

"Tsaka lang tumawag kay Chariz Solomon para magtanong at magkwento at ayun nga, confirmed: Na-Patrick siya in real life," he added, referring to Feir's character in the long-running sitcom Pepito Manaloto. "Kaya advance thank you sa pag punta, kuya John! I-kain mo na lang yan ng hatdog!"

Morales included a screenshot of his chat with Feir, where the comedian sent a selfie in his barong with the message, "Sa sobrang pagmamahal ko sa'yo kala ko ngayon kasal mo."

Meanwhile, creative agency Ikigai Studio appeared to be responsible for the wedding’s photo and video coverage as they shared a picture of Feir inside the church.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA TITO PEPITO, SI PATRICK ANDITO!" Morales commented.

Feir embraced the mix-up with humor as he later shared Morales' post on his Instagram story.

Morales and Garcia announced their engagement in February 2025 with a creative movie theater proposal, and have since shared prenup photos as they prepare for their big day.
