Marian Rivera became a hot topic on social media with her trending moment during Century Superbods 2024, where she asked a male contestant to "listen very carefully" as she translated her question from Tagalog to English for him to understand it better.

During the recently concluded event at the Manila Marriott Hotel, the actress, who served as one of the judges, asked contestant and eventual grand winner Jether Palomo about the growth of his social media followers after becoming a finalist for the competition.

"Paano mo gagamitin ang opportunity na ito kahit natapos na ang competition na ito?" Rivera asked him.

Palomo, however, didn't understand her question.

“I'm sorry, can I get English, please?” he said, raising his left hand and looking at the crowd.

Rivera showed him compassion in no time.

“I will try my best," Rivera said as she paused, drawing some laughs from the audience.

"Are you ready for this?" she asked Palomo, as the crowd cheered and clapped.

"Listen very carefully. Here's my question," she said.

"Your social media following grew when you became a finalist. How would you use this opportunity even after your SuperBod journey?"

"I think you understand that," she added.

Palomo then gave his million-dollar answer.

"I grew this platform showing that you can be authentically in you showing who you are as a person," he said. "I've been one to ruin my self image and ultimately I fell apart but those pieces didn't fall apart, they only fell into place."

"Now, I want to be able to use that platform to continue to inspire others on their fitness journey on becoming their best you ever," he added.

Palomo won the competition alongside Justine Felizarta. They will each receive P500,000, tax-free, while runners-up will get P200,000, tax-free.

Palomo won Mister Tourism World 2023 in Brazil. He's a content creator with over 600,000 followers on TikTok and 257,000 on Instagram.

Aside from Rivera, other judges in the competition included actor Aga Muhlach, Leyte 4th District Rep. Richard Gomez, and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.

Robi Domingo and Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel were the hosts of the night, while brand ambassador Kathryn Bernardo graced the stage.

The event also saw OPM band Lola Amour performing its smash hit Raining in Manila.
