'I've still got it': Kris Aquino is Netflix PH's C.H.I.K.A.
Multimedia queen Kris Aquino is back onscreen... sort of.
On Friday, Aug. 7, Netflix announced the news on Facebook through a short clip featuring Aquino exhibiting her editing skills in Netflix's editing room.
"Ako ang bago ninyong boss: the new Netflix C.H.I.K.A.," Aquino proclaimed to the room's sole occupant, editor "Earl John".
"Ano itong pasabog ni madam?! Kris Aquino is Netflix's C.H.I.K.A. (Chief Head of Insight and Kontent Analysis) with some bonggang upgrades to local shows, Krissy style," Netflix wrote in its Facebook post.
Aquino then sat beside Earl John to begin work on a few Filipino TV series for their August campaign.
She requested some snow effects in the Enrique Gil-Andrea Brillantes starrer A Secret in Prague, then ordered "more intense action" in Blood vs Duty starring Bela Padilla, Barbie Imperial, Richard Gutierrez, and Gerald Anderson. Finally, Aquino told Earl John to add more pizzazz to the outfits in Dingdong Dantes' The Master Cutter.
"I've still got it," Aquino said, wrapping up the clip.
At the height of her career, Aquino juggled numerous films and TV shows as a host, actress, and film producer. She stepped back, however, to take care of her health. In July 2025, she revealed she was battling multiple autoimmune diseases.
She gradually improved and was most recently seen in June on the set of Eat Bulaga! to support her son Bimby, who was then serving as the program's guest co-host.
