Juliana Gomez’s fencing snaps led K-drama fans to call her real-life Na Hee Do of 'Twenty Five Twenty One'

K-drama fans can't help but liken Juliana Gomez to Twenty Five Twenty One's Na Hee Do after the student-athlete shared photos of one of her bouts on Instagram.
In the post, Juliana is seen wearing white fencing gear with an embroidered Philippine flag. It came just four days before the popular 16-episode series ended on April 3.
Beyond the drama’s story of the romance between Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri ), fans are also drawn to the strong character of Na Hee Do as a dedicated high school fencing prodigy who later qualified as a member of the South Korean national team.
"Waahhh I can see Na Hee Do on you!! Watch Twenty Four Twenty One!!!" one of Juliana's followers commented on her post.
"Na Hee Do of PH," another one said. "Na Hee Do of Ormoc #2521," one user added.
Fans of the K-drama series saw Juliana's similarities to the character, as the unica hija of Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez and Leyte 4th representative Lucy Torres - Gomez, is also gifted in fencing. Juliana ranked third place in the Philippine Fencing Association and Southeast Asian Qualifying Games in 2021.
Juliana's love for the sport is one that she picks up from her dad, who is the president of the Philippine Fencing Association and, as a matter of fact, a gold medalist in the 2005 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
In another Instagram post uploaded on February 12, Juliana shared a photo of her in the same fencing suit, with the caption, "Making my dreams come true."
Juliana's followers who are also K-drama fans seem to have seen the resemblance of the 21-year-old to Twenty Five Twenty One's Hee Do, who showed perseverance while practicing throughout the day and thus, proving the drama's conclusion that effort does not betray results.
