Carla Abellana marries non-showbiz partner
Carla Abellana is now married!
The Kapuso actress' mother, Rea Reyes, shared a photo from the intimate ceremony on Dec. 27.
Abellana is pictured wearing a gorgeous white gown with a square neckline and a flowing skirt. Completing her look was a big veil and a bouquet of delicate calla lilies.
Meanwhile, her non-showbiz groom, Dr. Reginald Santos, donned a white tuxedo jacket with black trousers.
Ahead of their nuptials, Abellana gave a look at her pamper day and bridal shower at the Aivee Clinic. She wore a bride-to-be sash and a tiny version of a veil.
On Dec. 1, Abellana had the internet buzzing when she shared a photo of what appeared to be an engagement ring on her finger.
In the caption, she wrote three white hearts and included a verse from the bible, "Jeremiah 29:11: “[']For I know the plans I have for you,['] declares the LORD, [']plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.[']"
She kept her relationship with Santos private. In one of the few times she spoke about it, she confirmed that she began dating again in an Aug. 3 broadcast of 24 Oras Weekend.
