Harry Styles, Taylor Russell break up after less than a year of dating—report
English singer Harry Styles and Canadian actress Taylor Russell have called it quits, according to a report.
The Sun, citing insiders, reported that Styles and Russell have broken up after dating for less than a year. “Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship,” a source told the media outlet. “They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart.”
The source said Styles has been in America while Taylor has been in London. While they made “a lovely couple” and that “it was obvious that Taylor made Harry happy,” they said things “have become strained recently though and they’ve taken some time out.”
Taylor went to the Met Gala early this month without Styles, fueling the breakup rumors.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, Styles and Taylor sparked dating rumors in June 2023. The Sun, meanwhile, reported that they were already seen together in February of that year.
In July, Russell was seen dancing in the VIP section of Styles’s concert in Austria. Styles was also seen attending the opening gala night of Russell’s Broadway debut The Effect in London in August.
They were spotted together again several times in public over the course of their romance, PEOPLE reported.
Russell is known for her roles in Waves, Escape Room and Bones and All.
Styles, a former member of the boy band One Direction, is known for hits like As It Was, Watermelon Sugar, and Sign of the Times.
