Dolly Martinez, who became part of the 10th season of reality show My 600-lb. Life, has died at age 30.

Martinez's sister Lindsey Cooper announced her passing in a Facebook post last weekend.

"It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beautiful sister, Dolly," she began.

According to Cooper, her sibling had "the brightest personality."

"She could light up any room with her laughter, her kindness, and her loving spirit. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her warmth will stay with us forever," she said.

"While our hearts are broken here, I find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with our dad in heaven. I can only imagine the joy of that reunion," she added. "Rest peacefully, Dolly. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never forgotten."

Cooper did not reveal Martinez's cause of death.

Martinez appeared in Season 10 of the TLC series My 600-lb. Life when she was 25. On the show, she openly talked about her struggles with food addiction and mental health. She weighed 593 pounds, then, and was dependent on oxygen and in need of assistance with daily tasks.

She lost 40 pounds during the show but was not approved for weight-loss surgery.
