LISTEN: BTS' Jimin drops his first solo album 'Face'
The wait is over, ARMYs—Jimin's solo album is here!
The K-pop idol has finally unveiled his solo album dubbed FACE on Friday, March 24 on various streaming platforms, including Spotify.
The six-track project explores Jimin's "raw" side, with themes of overcoming and breaking free from fear. Included in the track list are Set Me Free Pt.2, which was accompanied by a music video released on March 17 as well as Like Crazy—a song co-written by his fellow BTS member RM. The music video for the latter was also dropped on the same day as his album release.
"If people understand the emotions I’m trying to express, I’ll consider the album a success," he said in a previous interview.
Jimin recently made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote FACE. In his interview with Fallon, he described it as a musical project that "looks back on the emotions" that he had "chronologically throughout the pandemic.”

His solo debut comes a month after the release of Jimin's collab with Bigbang's Taeyang for the latter's single Vibe. It debuted at the Billboard 100, landing on the 76th spot a few days after it was dropped in January.
He also previously worked with Korean singer Ha Sung-woon on the song With You—the official soundtrack for the Korean drama Our Blues.
