Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo’s frozen embryo is ready in case they want a second child
Jennylyn Mercado revealed that she has a frozen embryo should she and husband Dennis Trillo plan to have another baby.
In her interview with Nelson Canlas in 24 Oras’ Chika minute, the Kapuso actress opened up about her showbiz comeback and her motherhood journey with their daughter Dylan.
After being a full-time mom since getting pregnant in 2021, Jennylyn has returned to acting but shared that they had to make adjustments in their setup.
As both hands-on parents, the 36-year-old actress shared that she and her husband take turns at work and taking care of their baby.
“Ang schedule namin kailangan alternate—so pag may work si Dennis, dapat ako ‘yung nasa bahay, pag may work naman ako, dapat si Dennis naman nasa bahay. Hindi pwedeng naiiwan si Dylan mag-isa kasi naghahanap talaga siya,” she said.
Jennylyn and Dennis originally planned to do surrogacy in 2020. Since they unexpectedly got pregnant naturally, the StarStruck alum revealed that they have a frozen embryo ready in case they decide to have their second child.
"Puwede pa po 'yun. Naka-freeze lang 'yung embryo," she said.
"Anytime na gusto naming magka-baby ulit pwedeng ako na. Pwedeng surrogate ulit. Depende kung kakayanin ko pa,” she said.
Jennylyn and Dennis got back together in 2014 and officially tied the knot in October 2021, a month after announcing their engagement and pregnancy.
They officially welcomed their daughter, Dylan in 2022. Before this, the couple are already parents to their sons from previous relationships. Jennylyn has Jazz with Patrick Garcia, while Dennis has Calix with Carlene Aguilar.
