Influencer Lula Lahfah dies at 26
Lula Lahfah, a famous content creator in Indonesia, has died. She was 26.
Metro Jaya Police’s Head of Public Relations Kombes Budi Hermanto told CNN Indonesia that the influencer was found dead in her apartment at the Dharmawangsa neighborhood in South Jakarta on Friday, Jan. 23.
The cause of her death was not specified and authorities are still investigating the incident.
According to the news outlet, Lahfah reportedly had several health issues. As seen in a Tiktok video, she spent New Year's Day hospitalized for physical discomfort. She was active on social media until Jan. 21.
Indonesian pop group Weird Genius, whose members include Lahfah's boyfriend Reza Oktovian, cancelled their Jan. 23 gig following the news.
“With heavy hearts, we are informing you that Weird Genius will not be able to perform at tonight’s OPPO event due to the unfortunate news of one of our members (which currently not in a prime condition and shape to be on the stage),” the group said in an Instagram statement.
“This situation is beyond our control, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” the band added.
Lahfah, who became known for her lifestyle content, garnered 2.8 million followers on Instagram and 1.1 million followers on Tiktok.
