Entrepreneur Sam Verzosa admitted that he is no longer in speaking terms with ex-girlfriend Rhian Ramos months after their breakup.

In his Fast Talk with Boy Abunda interview, Verzosa disclosed that the last interaction with Ramos was in January 2026.

When asked if there are ill feelings when the two broke up, Verzosa admitted that the ordeal was not easy.

"Wala namang maayos na breakup, Tito Boy. So medyo magulo," he said. "I think we needed time or space para mag-heal also and for both of us to have our peace of mind siguro."

Verzosa added that the lack of communication between him and Ramos is necessary.

"Kasi mahirapan ka mag-move on or move forward tapos makikita mo 'yung tao, 'di ba? Mami-miss mo," he added. "So I think it's what's best for both of us."

In the early part of the interview, Verzosa admitted that he is uncomfortable talking about the breakup publicly.

"I was kind of hesitant to do this interview because it's been months na. And I think this will be the last time going to talk about it publicly because it's very personal. I always choose respect and protect what we had. What we had was real," he said. "Sobrang minahal ko si Rhian. I think and I felt those were one of the happiest days of my life."

Clearing up rumors, Verzosa emphasized that neither politics nor marriage talks caused the split, adding that wedding plans had always been part of their future.

"We always talk about it. We will never be in that, in the relationship, kung ayaw naming mapunta sa next level. Ayaw naman naming magsayang ng oras. And at that time, we really thought that, eh, 'yun na, we were meant for each other," he said.

Ramos and Verzosa confirmed their relationship in 2022 when they arrived at the GMA Gala holding hands.

Breakup rumors surfaced in 2022 after social media users noticed that they unfollowed, and followed each other again on Instagram two days later. The actress confirmed their brief split and shared that they decided to rekindle their romance.

In December 2025, eagle-eyed social media users saw that the two unfollowed each other on Instagram for the second time.

Ramos then opened up about her breakup with Verzosa last March, saying it happened in October 2025.

"It's a relationship between two people, so it is quite private. But I just want everyone to know that we're in a peaceful place now," she said, adding that they are both focusing on being the better versions of themselves.
