It appears that the actress and her new rumored beau, Filipino American commercial model Joaquin Enriquez, hard-launched their relationship on Oct. 19.
In an Instagram Reel, Joaquin can be seen solitarily walking and enjoying the beach. After a few seconds, Maymay appears from the back, running towards the model and embracing him. Joaquin reciprocates by planting a sweet kiss on her temple.
The video's thumbnail also featured the two getting cozy on a boat.
Enriquez caption the post, “I finally found my Iris,” in reference to the Goo Goo dolls song that he used as background music for the Reel.
To this, Maymay commented, “My lover.”
The model replied, still, “@maymay Mahal kita.”
In Maymay's Instagram stories, the actress shared a photo of a bouquet of roses with a sweet note reading, "Congratulations on completing your MV, doing good on your taping, and everything you do. I'm so proud of you, baby. I love you."
"Thank you, my lover," the actress wrote with a red heart emoji, tagging Joaquin.
Social media users were quick to support the two in the comments.
"O. I’ve been WAITING for this one. This video genuinely makes me sob. I’m so happy for you two," said a fan.
"Ingatan mo si [Maymay] plssss," another commented.
Adding fuel to the fire are photos by ABS-CBN TV writer Darla Sauler showing photos of the two holding hands on what appears to be a taping for variety show ASAP.
