LOOK: Heart Evangelista gives off ‘The Glory’ star Song Hye Kyo vibes with new hairdo
Heart Evangelista just got a new look—and we’re definitely here for it!
The actress debuted her new haircut on Instagram on Tuesday, April 11. While she now sports a shorter ‘do—a refreshing change from her signature long, wavy hair—she still made use of luxury tape-in human hair extensions to keep it in check.
In the comment section of her recent post, netizens were quick to point out that her new look easily reminded them of Song Hye Kyo—the main character in hit K-drama The Glory.
“Is it just me or she looks like Song Hye Kyo?” a netizen said.
“Song Hye Kyoooo!” another one commented with heart emojis.
Others, meanwhile, said her new hairstyle made the 38-year-old star look as young as ever.
“Ilang taon ka na nga? 22?” an Instagram user wrote.
“You look like a 16-year-old who just tried mom’s makeup. You’re the epitome of gorgeous!” a netizen commented.
Some IG users also said that the local star served as their “hairspiration” for their next salon appointment.
Content creator Winnie Wong joked that she thought of getting the same haircut, but she’s afraid she might not be able to pull it off. “Me wanting to get this haircut after seeing this, but then remembering I’ll look like Lord Farquaad,” she wrote, referring to the villain in the animated film Shrek.
The GMA-7 star is currently in the Philippines, but she’s been “living between two worlds” (Paris and Manila) for a while now. She first bared her plans to buy a Paris home in a September 2022 interview with a magazine publication. “I feel at home when I’m there. I think it has to do a lot with the city being a grand marriage of arts, fashion, and the old world. And I really connect with that a lot,” she said at the time.
