Jackie Forster accuses Kyline Alcantara of toxicity, physical assault amid rumored split with Kobe Paras

Trigger warning: This article contains mentions of physical assault.

Jackie Forster denied cheating claims against her son Kobe Paras as she accused Kyline Alcantara of being toxic in their relationship, "begging" him to get back with her, and even physically assaulting him.

"I want to start this off by saying that we wanted to keep quiet," Forster said in a 15-minute video titled "When it's important to live in reality." posted on YouTube on April 27. "But it's evident that in keeping details quiet, it is instead allowing for more accusations, more bashing, more assumptions, and, even more concerning, stalking."

Forster then claimed that Kyline's team asked Benjie Paras, Kobe's father, to deny the breakup rumors due to supposed contractual obligations.

“So much of this mess could have been avoided if people on Kyline’s team didn’t ask Benjie to tell the public that they were still okay. Why couldn’t they admit it? Because of contracts,” she said.

Kyline 'begged' Kobe's family to help them 'fix things'

Forster then presented a timeline of events based on what she gathered from "multiple people."

According to her, everything unraveled sometime in January after Kobe and Kyline's trip to the United States. "Some things were said and done that were, let's say, a red flag," she said, adding that over the next few months, Kobe met with Kyline's parents, which "really put him off."

Intimating that Kobe and Kyline were living together, Forster said he eventually "moved out" due to "unforgivable" things. "He finally left. Andre came to help Kobe move his things out," she shared. "Then, [Andre] stayed to talk to Kyline's parents to apologize for how things ended and thanked them for everything. Because that's who Andre is. He's kind and respectful."

Forster recalled that the next day, her family took calls from Kyline to console her "for hours." She said, "We are Kobe's family, but out of respect, we still tried to be there for her."

She then claimed that before Easter, Kyline "begged" their family to convince Kobe to "go back home and to apologize to her so they can still fix things."

"She and I had multiple long talks. I thought we had an agreement," she said, adding that she advised Kyline not to do "irrational" things like deleting photos and unfollowing him on social media. She then assured Kyline that she'd call Kobe, to "check if things are still salvageable."

"But then, Kyline went on to not only do some of those things—she also thought it would also be a smart idea to post a video of her singing some sentimental song, only adding fuel to the flames," she recalled.

Forster noted that Kyline's parents also made cryptic posts, further stirring speculations about the supposed breakup and resulting in Kobe "getting abused online."

"Still, we kept quiet," she said.

'Condescending, bastos'

Nevertheless, Forster said she was in touch with Kyline, trying to help the latter fix her relationship with Kobe.

She, however, claimed that Kyline's demeanor began to change, becoming "condescending" and "bastos."

"[She] makes a promise to do what she needs to do to save her career," Forster said, adding that Kyline and her parents posted cryptic messages anew.

“I need to believe what I was seeing, I need to stop denying. She obviously doesn’t care how any of this is affecting those of us who are trying to help her,” she said. "It really showed that Kyline will do what Kyline wants to do to get what Kyline wants."

That was when Forster posted a cryptic quote of her own about "emotional manipulation and accountability," but someone from Kyline's talent agency allegedly messaged her about it.

"Basically trying to make me feel bad for my post and excusing what she and her parents are doing. Ceasefire daw, ceasefire. I didn't know we're at war," she said, even as she questioned why Kyline's camp allowed it.

Forster also called out accusations that Kobe used Kyline's car while cheating on her. Reiterating that Kobe didn't cheat, Forster noted that it was Kyline who initiated to lend her car as his was still being repaired.

She also criticized Kyline's alleged remarks about asking Kobe to pay her rent for living in her house.

"So why didn't you just let him leave? You let him borrow your car and stay at your place while he was waiting on the condo that he wanted to buy, only for you and your family to belittle him," she said. "He was there because you asked, and he stayed because he wanted to try making it all work."

"This was the layer of toxicity that Kobe was trying to tell me about," she said. "I'm pretty sure Kobe felt trapped."

"Kyline should have completely understood the day that he decided to leave her that he had had enough."

Alleged physical assault

Forster also claimed that Kobe gave his phone's password to Kyline, who she said always checked his phone.

"He allowed you to," she said. "This last time, he was already distant. You were grabbing his phone, and you physically assaulted him and in a manner that was provoking."

"Why? Why would you do that? Why would you put Kobe in that position? Why do you need to be violent?" she said, adding that she, as a mother, never spanked Kobe.

She then addressed Kyline again and her "toxic fans," asking them not to "insult the efforts we have made to build our family by playing victim."

"If you’re a victim, you’re the victim of your own doing. Your actions have consequences," she said.

“For someone who is supposed to be a mental health advocate, it bothers me to know that you have been playing with Kobe’s mental health throughout your relationship," she continued.

Forster added she'd leave out the "many incriminating stories" regarding Kobe's trust issues against Kyline, but gave Kyline a gentle reminder about making them public.

"Unless you make it necessary for me to do it in the future. And I’m praying that doesn’t happen," she said, adding that they "keep proof."

Kyline's brother and his girlfriend speak up

After Forster's video message, Zamantha Rose, the girlfriend of Kyline's brother Robin Angelou Alcantara, spoke up about living together with Kyline and Kobe.

"As a mother, I respect your instinct to protect your family," Zamantha said on Instagram Story. "However, having lived with Kyline and Kobe, I saw the situation up close, and I can confidently say much of what has been said is untrue and deeply misleading."

While Kobe confided in her before leaving—and while she listened with empathy—Zamantha said the narrative being pushed twists facts and unfairly attacks Kyline's character.

She also criticized Forster for calling out Kyline's family in sharing cryptic quotes.

"A quote posted by her father about family uniting during hardships was misconstrued and used to create unnecessary drama on your end. To then release a video dragging Kyline's name, bringing up her parents' past, and casting untruthful accusations is not only hurtful, it is irresponsible," she said.

Zamantha defended Kyline's name, saying the latter "is not, and has never been, manipulative or abusive."

"She has been nothing but supportive toward Kobe," she said. "To publicly damage her reputation with false claims, especially when she has done nothing to deserve it, is deeply wrong."

She said that if Forster's camp truly intended to resolve the issue amicably, they should've handled things privately and not through public attacks "disguised as concern."

"I sincerely hope moving forward, you can choose integrity, fairness, and genuine respect over distortion and harm," she told Forster. "Lastly, Kyline deserves to be defended with the same grace and dignity she has always shown."

Robin also shared a collage of the cryptic quotes Forster was supposedly referring to, with the caption, "Grabe, January pa pala nagcicryptic post nanay ko. Sino kalaban niya, si self?"

"Wag kayo magthank you kay Papa J ha, cryptic post yan," he added.

Without directly naming anyone, he also called out the "other side" as it "keeps on blabbering" about what his parents posted. "Kami daw nagsimula. 'Cryptic posts' kuno," he said.

Kobe and Kyline confirmed that they were dating in November 2024.

The two have been plagued with breakup rumors for weeks now after Internet users noticed that they had deleted some of their couple photos on their Instagram accounts. These included snaps of them from their date at a Makati bar, as well as one of their Palawan trips. A picture from when they watched a basketball game together in Los Angeles in California can also no longer be found on their feeds.

Earlier this month, they unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling the breakup rumors further.

Kobe and Kyline have yet to directly address the issue.

PhilSTAR L!fe has also reached out to Kyline and her talent agency for comment on Jackie's claims against her, but has yet to receive a response.
