Girls' Generation makes their comeback with 'FOREVER 1' album

After a five-year hiatus, the nation’s girl group is back stronger than ever! 

On Friday, August 5, the famous K-pop girl group Girls' Generation fulfilled their promise to SONEs by making their return with the release of the “FOREVER 1” album and a playful music video. 

Their highly anticipated comeback album consists of 10 new tracks with the physical album set to be released on August 8. Their new release celebrates their 15th anniversary since their first debut in 2007 with the hit song Into the New World. 

Meanwhile, the girl group’s music video showcased their bond that has been pushed through for 15 years, as they dance through a variety of colorful stages and vibrant lighting. Check out Girls’ Generation’s latest music video below. 

Girls' Generation, also known as SNSD, consists of Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun. Former member Jessica left the group in 2014. 

The girl group has been lauded for redefining the K-pop industry as the first girl group launched by SM Entertainment and for being the first Asian girl group to reach over 100 million views on YouTube with their music videos for Gee, I Got a Boy, The Boys, Mr. Taxi, and Oh!
