BLACKPINK becomes first K-pop girl group to get a BRIT Awards nomination
It's only the first month of the year, but BLACKPINK has been marking more of their phenomenal firsts in the K-pop industry.
After breaking its own record in YouTube streams with Ddu-Du-Ddu and being the first K-pop act to headline Coachella 2023, BLACKPINK has achieved another milestone by being nominated for BRIT Awards 2023.
On Jan. 13, the British award-giving body announced that BLACKPINK is one of the nominees for Best International Group in this year's ceremony. The group makes history as the first K-pop girl group to get a BRIT nomination.
Joining the quartet in the lineup are Drake & 21 Savage, First Aid Kit, Fontaines D.C., and Gabriels.
