Raise your BI-Ping-Bong hammer lightsticks, BLINKs! BLACKPINK is bringing Hallyu to the world as the first K-pop headliner of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year.

The South Korean girl group was announced to be one of the famous music festival's main acts in social media posts released by its organizer, Los Angeles-based promoter Goldenvoice, on Jan. 11.

The quartet is set to unleash their pink venom on April 15 and 22 at the Coachella stage at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.

This is the first time Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will light up the highly-attended festival as headliner after the group performed in 2019 as part of the second line of artists.

Joining the K-pop stars in Coachella's main act lineup are Bad Bunny, who is also the festival's first-ever Latino headliner, and American singer-songwriter Frank Ocean.

Completing the two-week event's diversified list of second-liners are Latin pop star Becky G, Haitian DJ Kaytranada, Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy, Indian-British electronic artist Jai Paul, and Colombian singer Kai Uchis, among others.

Coachella 2023 is set to run on the weekends of April 14 to 16 and April 21 to 23. The event will be available for streaming on Coachella's YouTube channel.
