#loveislove: Rebel Wilson of 'Pitch Perfect' comes out, introduces girlfriend
Rebel Wilson of Pitch Perfect fame just came out on Instagram, while also introducing her girlfriend.
"I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince," Rebel wrote on Instagram early June 10 local time, as she shared a selfie with Ramona Agruma. "But maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess," followed by the hashtag #loveislove, pink hearts, and rainbow emojis. Rainbow is widely considered the symbol of the LGBTQ+ community.
Agruma, whose Instagram is set to private, is the founder of Lemon Ve Limon, a Los Angeles-based sustainable clothing brand. She's also a brand ambassador of Bee Goddess, a Turkish jewelry company.
Wilson previously told People magazine that she's in a relationship after being set up by a friend, though didn't mention who her partner is.
"I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated," People quoted Wilson as saying. "[I]t's great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship."
Last June 2, Wilson wished her followers a happy Pride Month, showcasing a rainbow-themed donut and a twin-headed horse oozing with rainbow. She also used the #loveislove hashtag in the post.
