Kris Aquino said she will not act as his son, Bimby's "mamager" as she will be busy co-producing her own video podcast.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Feb. 12, Aquino said she will place Bimby’s career planning in someone she trusts.

"I like being a mama, I couldn’t see myself being a 'mamager'…I’m leaving his career planning to someone I trust because he has integrity, a solid home life, and he and his beautiful wife cared enough to invite my son over to their home to meet their children and that reassured me that Bimb will be treated like family," she wrote, sharing a photo of her surrounded by balloons as she nears her birthday on Feb. 14.

"They were also flexible about sharing Bimb with another group as far as music is concerned."

The "Queen of All Media" added that Bimby is undergoing training, including a few skills that may come as a surprise. Bimby previously underwent a vocal coaching session.

"Please use this post as your receipt. I promise that I will only make pakialam with the overall styling of my son," she quipped.

Aquino added that she will also be busy co-producing her video podcast.

"All other decisions will be up to Bimb and his manager Titos and Tita. why? Because I’ll be co-producing my on-camera podcast," she added.

In late January, she expressed that she missed doing interviews and hoped to conduct sit-down interviews once a week with “interesting” people.

In her latest health update, Aquino said that five weeks after the removal of her last stitches, she hopes to begin producing “immunity cells,” as she is currently severely immunocompromised.

She added that she's not allowed to walk outside until four weeks after her stitches are removed, but shared that she is now able to walk unaided and rarely needs to use her wheelchair.

'I am praying to reach 60'

Aquino also talked about turning 55 on Feb. 14.

"[I’m] so grateful to reach 55. I am now praying to reach 60 so I’ll have both a PWD and Senior Citizen’s Card. So many online establishments don’t accept the PWD as a valid government-issued ID. I never learned how to drive. I only have my passport," she added.

Kris is currently undergoing treatment for her autoimmune diseases including fibromyalgia (causing widespread pain), polymyositis (causing muscle weakness), and mixed connective tissue disease (a combination of lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis). She received treatment in the United States from June 2022 to September 2024 before returning to the Philippines.

Before her hiatus from showbiz, she hosted talk shows, such as The Buzz, Good Morning, Kris, Kris TV, and more.
