Actor Daniel Curtis Lee is lending a helping hand to his former Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide co-star Tylor Chase after the latter was spotted homeless in California.

Through his Instagram account, Lee updated his followers that he reunited with Chase after he saw the heartbreaking video of him that has been making the rounds on TikTok and X.

In the clip, he was seen wearing a worn-out shirt and jeans when the woman taking the video approached him and asked if he appeared on the Disney Channel, to which Chase clarified that he starred in the Nickelodeon series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

"So, a lot of people have been reaching out, and seeing if I'm still in touch with Tylor since that last TikTok video where I went to visit him. And, yeah, man, as a matter of fact, I just got off a call with him," Lee said in an Instagram video.

He shared that Chase has a chance to speak with his dad through FaceTime and that he "seemed super receptive to conversation."

Lee went on to ask for help from his viewers, particularly those who know how to form a "trust" to which people could donate funds to help Chase.

"I really believe we can get Tyler back on his feet. I'm super feeling it right now with the holiday season," he said. "It's been hard to make time, but he's on my heart and my mind often, so if any of you guys have any ideas, I'd love to explore some options to to improve a situation."

"He seems to be really excited about the fact that so many people have been inspired by him. So you guys who are reaching out and telling him everything he's meant to you, I think that's really great," he added.

Lee said that he is planning to donate some clothes to Chase and continue checking in on him.

In a follow-up Instagram video, Lee revealed that he had treated Chase to a meal at a pizza restaurant before taking him to a hotel to stay in while the podcast creator coordinates with others toward a plan for long-term assistance.

"[Mighty Ducks star] Shaun Weiss and his team put a lot of effort into trying to get him into a hospital last night, and I thought it worked. His dad told me it worked, but it turns out he kind of backed out," Lee recounted.

He said that he wanted Chase to stay in a hotel as he wanted him to "have at least some basic accommodations" during the holiday season.

"Okay, thank you so much," Chase said as Lee hugged him inside the hotel room.

"Love you, brother. Love you, man. So happy to see you, dude. You're the man, brother, and I believe in you, and we're gonna win, bro. All we got to do is stay with it and keep working, dude," Lee replied.

Aside from Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, Chase is also known for appearing in Everybody Hates Chris and Good Time Max.
